Answer:  Tip provided by Paul Lanevsky
1. Turn on Gemini CPU, warm start, goto bright star, sync
2. Start MaxIm/DL
3. Bring up Observatory control window in MaxIm, click on Setup tab,
and click on Options->Choose
4. Select 'Gemini Telescope .NET' driver from the ASCOM chooser, and click OK
5. Click on Connect Telescope button on MaxIm observatory Setup tab
6. Display Camera control window in MaxIm, connect to your guider camera
7. Click on Guide tab, click on Settings button
8. Select ‘Telescope’ from Autoguider Output/Control Via group
9. Change X-Axis Cal time and Y-Axis Cal time to 20 seconds or more
(depends on your focal length and guide speed)
10. Make sure all Guider outputs are enabled (check marks next to all
directions)
11. Click on Advanced tab, and click on Defaults to reset these to
their default values, click OK
12. Click OK on Settings window
13. Click on Expose radio-button, and click Start. Find a good guide
star near the middle of the guider frame, with no other bright stars
visible
14. Click on Calibrate radio-button, and click Start button
15. When done, you should see a nice red ‘L’ letter, maybe with a very
slight excursions beyond due to backlash.

2.   How do you find the perfect CWD position?
Answer:  How do you find the perfect CWD position?:
Here is a link to Mike Dodds article Finding the Losmandy G-11/Gemini's "Magic" CWD Position.  This is one of the best write-ups that I have seen on setting the Losmandy G8/11/Titan or MI-250 to the perfect CWD position. This article is posted here with the permission of Mike Dodd.
